Short Bio

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in mathematics, philosophy, and music, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, language, and cognitive science. I am currently working as a researcher at the Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” and at the Hellenic Open University, and as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Patras. My research interests span both the technical and theoretical dimensions of intelligence, cognition, and meaning across artificial, human, and animal systems, ranging from machine learning, natural language processing, and computational approaches to language and cognition to meaning and semantics, the philosophy of AI, phenomenology, and the philosophy of mind and perception. I am particularly interested in explainability and the epistemic dimensions of human–AI interaction, alongside broader questions of trust, epistemic authority, and the role of AI in education and knowledge formation. My work also engages with logic and the foundations of mathematics. Additionally, I am deeply involved in music composition and audiovisual arts.
